Mines Supervisor Online Certification

Overview

This course is designed to certify Mines Supervisors in the Mines Act, Regulations, and the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in British Columbia. Successful completion of the exam will certify you as a Mines Supervisor.

The exam assesses your knowledge in eight areas:

  • Mining in BC
  • Worker Health and Safety
  • Worksite Safety
  • Environmental Protection
  • Public Safety
  • Equipment and Machinery Requirements
  • Using Certified Professionals
  • Emergency Preparedness and Response

All information required to answer the exam questions may be found in the Mines Act, Regulations, and the Health, Safety and Reclamation Code for Mines in British Columbia (“the Code”). A searchable copy of the Code is made available to you within the Mines Supervisor Online Certification. Upon registration, you are also given the option to obtain a print copy of the Code at shipping cost.
