Option B: Write a Letter to the Editor

Write a letter to the editor of the Roman Daily News stating why you oppose or support slavery in the Roman Empire. Write the editor's response as well. (10 marks)


Marking Guide

  • In your letter you clearly state a position either for or against slavery.
  • You support your position with at least three reasons.
  • You do not discuss the opposing position in your letter, as it might weaken your chosen position.
  • You have included the editor's reply to your letter.
