FOODSAFE Level 1 is a food handling, sanitation and work safety course designed for front line food service workers such as cooks, servers, bussers, dishwashers, and deli workers.
Every food service operator, and at least one employee on every shift, must hold a FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate, or certificate from a course recognized as equivalent to FOODSAFE.
The course covers important food safety and worker safety information including foodborne illness, receiving and storing food, preparing food, serving food, cleaning and sanitizing.
Upon starting, we provide access for 20 days to:
* Refunds must be requested prior to beginning the course. Refund requests will be declined if you have logged into the course website.
A processing fee of $35.00 will be charged. The purchaser will receive a refund of $53.00 for FOODSAFE Level 1 Online. To receive a refund, please forward your electronic receipt to our customer service department.
Extensions are only provided for extenuating circumstances, such as death in the family or hospitalization. Contact us before your course end date to explain your need for an extenion.
