There may be a glossary of terms available for important words that are used throughout the course. If you don’t know a word and it is highlighted, click on it for pop-up definition.

Study Glossary

In some course you will be creating your own glossary of new vocabulary terms. Write down any term you see in the course which is emphasized as well as any other term you find in your reading that you think may be important for you to know. Then find the meaning for the word and write it down beside the word.

The Study Glossary you create will be a good study tool to help you improve your vocabulary and increase your chances for success on tests. If you enter this list on a computer, keep it in alphabetical order by using the sort option in your word processor.
