A course is made up of modules, usually four per course. Each module deals with one theme or broad area of study and contains sections, usually three to five per module. A section contains a series of lessons and a section assignment, which is submitted to your teacher for marks. Some courses have several tests (each written after completing a module). Courses may also require additional learning resources such as textbooks, CD-ROMs, videos, or software.
A pdf file listing all the modules, sections, and lessons in a course is usually available for you to download in the course overview. It would be a good idea to print this course outline and use it to check off the items that you've completed as you work through the course.
