Using Graphic Organizers

Graphic organizers are visual tools or diagrams that can help you organize information and make connections or see patterns. These tools can be adapted to suit your purpose and style. Concept mapping will help you analyze a problem or situation and provide you with more information to make a decision or to represent information visually.

Concept mapping is one type of graphic organizer.

For example, you might use a Venn diagram to compare and contrast two types of family groupings. Know your purpose; then choose the best tool.
