Welcome to Online Earth Science This Web-based Earth Science course introduces geology and other Earth sciences – ecology, oceanography, atmospheric science, and astronomy. If you like learning about our planet, this course can be an interesting way to obtain Grade 11 science-course credit toward graduation. If you are considering an Earth science as an academic field, career, or avocation, this course will also give you the basis for an informed decision. If you are just interested in learning more about Planet Earth, this course will keep your interest. Whatever your purpose, you will fill in your Earth science knowledge in ways that are relevant to British Columbia. The Open Learning Agency makes this course available in two versions: The Open School course for secondary students is delivered by means of a popular program called WebCT.
