physics 11In Physics 11, students will focus on the study of light, motion, forces, and energy. Throughout this course students will be asked to observe, measure and analyse natural phenomena using the scientific method. By performing experiments, testing hypotheses, and using models, students will investigate some of the central ideas of physics.

This course has been designed with the distributed learner in mind. It contains sample data so that even students without access to a laboratory can complete the experimental work. This course also makes an excellent resource for new science teachers.

Physics 11 is available in a print delivery format. The three modules should be completed sequentially as students will be building on concepts as they work through the course. There are tests available for each module.

Students with Internet access who want to explore certain concepts further can check out our Physics 11 Companion Website. This portal contains links to a variety of external websites that provide additional information and/or related pictures, videos, animations, and games that illustrate concepts and entertain.
