| The Course Selector
is an interactive worksheet for students who are
planning their graduation program. This tool allows students
to select required and elective courses from a pick list,
tracks credits, and provides feedback on their choices.
The online course selector makes course selection fast,
easy, and accurate. Whether you’re a student, teacher,
counselor, or parent, this tool can help make the right decisions
for graduation. Students can plan their courses and electives
by using this Flash-based, HTML program installed on the school’s
Web server and accessed through any browser. The program provides
feedback on the course path selected and identifies focus
areas. It comes with the standard BC curriculum courses installed,
which can be modified to meet your school or district naming
conventions. Schools can substitute their own course list.
The Course Selector is an excellent tool for demonstration
and for initiating discussion.
