Open School BC continues to participate in and support the various Provincial Specialist Associations, teachers' professional development conferences, public enterprise events and parent-focused functions around the province. Due to the economic downturn and the government’s spending reduction we have significantly cutback on our conference attendance. So far we plan to attend the following events this upcoming year: |

| October 22nd - 24th, 2009 | BC Association of Math Teachers presents 48th Annual Northwest Mathematics Conference “Go For the Gold Let the Mathematics Begin” Whistler, BC http://www.bctf.ca/bcamt/nw2009/ We hope to present our brand new Math 8 program at this conference and display the new Math 7 course we have just released. |
